B) We would try to find a phone number for the person’s family to let them know. If we can’t find a number, we would tell a neighbour and housing office.

C) Yes I’d leave a message. Tell family the client went to the hospital (name) because he was not feeling well. Please go there.

D) I’d do everything the same.

b) Notify the care manager
c) Message should be left with name of staff and company, stating briefly the incident as well as the hospital the client was taken to.
d) I guess the procedure should be the same whether Richview, Care Centre, or Widdicombe

b) I would report to my supervisor first.
c) Yes. I would leave a message asking the family to contact my supervisor without mentioning details. But before doing that, I need to make sure my supervisor (or the designated people in the office) have details about the happening.
d) No. I will act the same to keep the same procedure/standard of the service.

C. Yes, the message that should be left is:
– The name of the person that’s calling and the company they’re calling from.
– Try leaving as much detail as possible of what happened to the client.
– The hospital that the client was taken to and the time

D. The procedure should be the same for Richview, Care Centre, and Widdicombe.
