for second scenario i would ask the client and let him know about weather condition on that particular day, also let the manager know about the situation so can arrange for their scheduled walk.

I will check my schedule and if there is time I will go and walk the client. Otherwise, I will let him or her know that the walk will be for another day.

Since I carry the pager, I am responsible for the immediate response. First, I would ask the client if today is the scheduled bath day. If the answer is yes, I would find out if they still want the bath even if it is late, who the regular staff are that give the bath, and the usual bath time. Then, I would contact the staff and explain what happened. Depending on whether the staff are available or not, I would call back the client and let them know the reason behind the decision. Meanwhile, I would fill in if time permits assuming the regular staff are unable to go. Finally, I would record it in the documentation file accordingly.
2. For the unscheduled walk:
It depends on the staff’s time availability and risk assessment of the walk. If I have time and I know there is no safety concern for this client, I would let the client know the walk is not on schedule for the stat holiday, but I could give the walk because I happen to have some time available. Since the walk is unscheduled, I would report it to the supervisor separately after recording it in the documention file.

Next I find will leave a note Indicating what the client request.

In the second scenario, my approach would be, I will have a discussion with client since it’s not on schedule and ask what time him/ her and what days would they prefer to go for a walk. Also indicate that I will let management or my supervisor be aware of it so it can be communicated with scheduleder or give the client the contact information for management so him/her can communicate with directly management. As a staff of Richview Residence’s I will leave a not indicating the client’s name and service that the client is requesting.

The worker should inform the client that on holiday they don’t get a shower.

If there is time on my schedule i would give the walk, if not i would tell the client that he/she are not on the schedule for a walk for today.
