Now if I rescheduled laundry to another day it will impact on the laundry schedule. Because of the circumstances I will make time and do it . I will let my co-worker know about it in case I get behind with my schedule.

B) If I have enough time I will offer a bath if not peri care then make sure to put on fresh clothes. After client is nice and clean remove soiled linens and rinse it out, if enough time wash it and dryer. Now if not time it can be done later at list linens had already been rinse. Making sure bed had been made with fresh sheets.

C) Pretty much same process from question b) but this time I am removing bm.

It should not have an impact on the laundry schedule if there is a spot. If there is no spot the client have to wait until next week. B) I would rinse the sheets out and hang them to dry or if i have time i would do the laundry on my shift. C) Rinse out fecal matter from the clothes and linens hang them to dry or do it on my shift.

Yes it would impact the laundry schedule if we move her for everyone has a specific day.

B) sheet are soak with urine (Richview) I would change bedding and put in the laundry machine if time not permitting ask co-worker to take out of the dryer. C) same as b

Moving the laundry would have an impact on the schedule, especially where there is no room to accommodate it but the laundry has to be done anyway due to the situation.

B) I would give her peri care and put on clean clothes and depend and make sure she’s clean. I would then rinse out the urine on the soiled linens and hang them in order to have them dry to be washed on the laundry day.

C) Same process as B. but this time, I’m rinsing out the feces to have the linens ready for laundry day.

I would make an exception and try to have the laundry done, explain to client nicely that her laundry day has past, but will make an exception this time. (check schedule first to accommodate)

If you move her laundry to another day, do you think it will have an impact to the laundry schedule? Yes it will impact the schedule unfortunately, but circumstances, she has no clean clothes.

B) The client is incontinent. You go in and the sheets are soaked with urine. What would you do if you were at Richview? What would you do if you were at Widdicombe? Well first transfer client out of bed if in bed, do peri care , put on clean clothes, depends, then removed soiled linens, if there is time rinse and hang to dry in washroom.

C) The client had an “accident”. There is fecal matter on the client’s clothes and linens. What would you do if you were at Richview? What would you do if you were at Widdicombe? Same as above
